This workshop is for beginners and those who have never taken a class with Chris before. It continues throughout the summer on every 3rd Sunday of the month.

Coming soon will be a workshop for those who have already taken this class or are experienced encaustic artists who would like to delve deeper into various techniques.

Why encaustics?
Wax is an ancient artistic medium used originally to repair broken clay vessels and caulk boats.  By adding pigments and resin into the wax a paint was created.  Being non reactive to other materials, impervious to moisture/mold and instant drying, this medium is extremely versatile.

About the Artist.
Chris Craft is a fine artist with a long commercial art history. He has painted for most of his life in a variety of styles and media.
